Day 26: Magnolia, TX to Batson, TX

Today’s ride took us through some beautiful Texas pine forests–and some flatter roads! We climbed only a meagre 748 feet in 71.1 miles. Abi got yet another QOM and we stopped at a BBQ place along the road for a “redneck burrito” (bbq brisket, coleslaw, beans, jalapenos, and cheese in a tortilla) and a mushroom swiss burger. The burrito was pretty delicious. Part of our ride took us through The Woodlands–an upscale suburb of Houston, and then out into the rural roads which once again had wildflowers growing along them.
